Our School Philosophy

At Parklawn Preschool Inc. we recognize that each child is an individual with a unique pattern of interests, capabilities and aspirations. These qualities shall be nurtured in a healthy and safe environment in which the child can develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.

Each child's sense of autonomy, self-esteem and self-discipline shall be facilitated in our warm and caring environment. All aspects of our stimulation program will utilize creativity with the child's interest in mind in order to satisfy their desire to explore and promote discovery. We recognize that each child experiences life at their own level. We support these learning experiences by challenging the aspirations and emerging capabilities of each child. The individuality of each child shall be recognized and respected and shall be developed to its full potential.

At Parklawn Preschool Inc. we strive to create a supportive family atmosphere in which the program is an extension of both the home and community. We believe that we must all work together in order to meet the needs of our children.
